Moving is one of the most stressful experiences in life for anyone, but especially for your cats! Everyone that knows me knows I love cats ( the name of my blog is one clue: Raining Cats and Blogs). I came across this great info-graphic about moving with cats and wanted to share it with everyone.
I hope it helps anyone moving with cats to have a little less stress in their move and helps your cat be safer and more stress-free as well.. There are some before, during and after the move help ideas in this info-graphic. Enjoy:

I heard a word the other day that I had never heard before but loved as soon as I heard it.. the new word... Kerfluffle... ( aka: Kerfuffle) I prefer the extra L in the word personally.. it just sounds better to me. Here are two of the definitions I found for this great word! Repo is Jumping up in the air ( nice height, huh) while he and Edward are playing. Edward is looking at Repo like... 'what are you doing in the air, dude? Get down here so we can play!' They are really hilarious when they are playing ... It is very hard to get a good shot but Charlie got this one and I thought you would all enjoy it... Have a good weekend!

Repo and Edward... Sleeping together on top of their box fort. Aren't they cute? They are best buds now. Edward is just over 4 months old and Repo will soon be a year old!... Time sure flies. I wish they could stay little forever! I thought they looked a little like a yin yang in this one :)

LOL.. I couldn't resist the title.. This photo reminds me of vampire fangs.. and since I named him after Edward on Twilight, I thought this was really funny.
On the other hand, it also looks like he is yelling something like : " ahhhhhh would you please be quiet! I'm Trying to sleep!"

cats: Welcome Home Little Guy!

Welcome home little guy..
Today we welcomed a new addition to our family.. He was rescued from the shelter and they called him Timmy... For now, I do too since I have not renamed him.. ( haven't decided if I will or not).. He is 12 weeks old and is so sweet. He has some wonderful markings.. I look forward to the coming days/weeks/years of posts with him and Repo playing together.
So what do you think? change the name or keep it? If I change it, what should I call him? ..

Charlie Black... aka Harvest Moon - He was a stray the came to us over 10 years ago... Isn't he gorgeous? He is our "front" of the house cat.. He stays in the front yard all the time. Every one of us in the family have a different name for him so we put them all together and he kinda has four names now. :)

I just can not get enough of the photos of our kitten, REPO.. He is so adorable. He loves all his toys and plays with them constantly. It seems like a lot of the time he is posing for the camera too.. I can't believe how fast he is growing up... I wish he would just slow down the growing...!!!

LOL... Hiding in the covers is another of my daughter's cats... Her name is Bunny because she "bunny kicks" when she is play fighting. She is so cute. She is the same cat that I posted yesterday when she was a kitten. She is a feisty little thing!

I think Repo likes to stick his tongue out.... Several of the photos we have taken of him he is like this.. Isn't it funny.... It is like he is saying "nanana, I have a beautiful purple collar and am much prettier than you are!!".... LOL... I have to agree, he is very handsome!!
By the way, do you like my new background images of my cats? I need to "tweek" the sizes a little still, but it is a start.

Repo never fails to make me laugh.. No matter how good or bad my day has been, it is wonderful to come home to such a sweet kitty friend! I have so many photos of him already.. He seems to just pose for the camera1!

Not the best photo... but here is my daughter's new kitten.. if you remember, on Wednesday she got her boy kitty named Snuggles and then on Thursday she got her new female kitten.. She hasn't named this one yet, but I think you will agree she is adorable!.. She is very sweet and only around 6 months old.. also, just like the previous one, she was at the animal shelter in Anderson SC.. They keep their animals for 21 days and she had been there just over that timeframe..

Repo is a funny kitty - He does this thing with his little hands around his head.. It is so cute. This is him about to do it and this one looks like he is being held at gun point.. LOL... This photo was taken about 2 weeks ago and I can't believe how much bigger he is already now than he was at that time.. He is growing soooo fast... He is a real joy to have around.

I know, I know.... I don't seem to be taking photos of anything any more but REPO.. :) I just can't help it.. he is just so darn cute!! REPO likes to lay in the basket while we are in the car. This day, we had just come back from a trip to the store and had put the basket on the bed... He thought that meant nap time!

As most all of you know from my signature, I have 4 cats... Well I also have a bird( or actually my husband has a bird ) named Rainbow.. Isn't he a beauty? He is Macaw and does talk some. Picnik is great to just play with ... what do you think? What other sites do you use and like to play around with? One of my other favorites is animoto for videos ( I used that on Thursday)

Thought I would share this great video of Repo ( our Kitty) watching and playing with our fish. It is made with Animoto ( a great way to produce videos for youtube or anywhere!) He looks like he is in the tank with them in most of the photos. Very cool. Hope you enjoy this as much as I do!
