This is a wonderful time to be a buyer on the Connecticut Shoreline. Not too long ago, the entry price into towns such as Madison and Guilford was upwards of $350,000 and even then, you had to update, upgrade and clean up the property, as they were not all in great condition. Now, the tide has turned and wonderful homes in great condition are found in our beloved shoreline communities. In fact, if you are selling,your property had better look the best and brightest one on the block if you want it to sell in todays market. Was it time for a correction in housing prices? I think that we all can agree that it was time. Now, with the economic stimulus plan for first time homebuyers, let's hope that the housing market will be energized again. Our best investment is in real estate, and owning a property is part of the American dream.
