So is this really the year to make that move up or purchase for the 1st time? I know, we have heard this each of the last 3 years as the market has continued to slide. After all a broken clock is right twice daily, so maybe the clock will be right after this :-)

First off, I am deeply saddened every time I hear one of our troops losing their life. I think to myself, they are leaving their families behind to keep them safe and now they are gone.
On the political side of it, I really agree with you, the shoe is on the other foot now but now it fits just fine. Thanks for the post. The important thing to remember here (from what I have read and makes sense) is that the bank has 10 days only if they have received a hardship package and been given pre-approved short sale terms, after that, then it is 10 days response. Make sure to inform your clients to have all the forms and documentation together to get that package to the bank asap.

NEW FHA GUIDELINE CHANGES 2010 - 02/01/10 10:30 AM
  While the housing market is maybe seeing signs of recovering and still dealing with a struggling economy the FHA has decided to up the MIP from 1.75% to 2.25% and decreasing the maximum allowed seller contributions from 6% to 3%(which I don't believe is such a huge issue. The FHA is also imposing a higher fico score minimum which I also do not have a problem with, because the minimum is 580. To Boot, the April 30 the Home Buyer Tax Credit is set to expire. WOW LOT'S OF CHANGE, HEY THE NEW ADMINISTRATION PROMISED US CHANGE, RIGHT?
