I just got off the phone with NC Housing Finance Agency (NCHFA) and found out that they are offering up to $14,900 in downpayment assistance and closing costs for the purchase of a foreclosure property. The assistance is in the form of a 5 year loan given to the borrower at 0% interest. It does require you to occupy and retain the home for that 5 years. 20% of the loan will be forgiven for each full year the buyer owns and lives in the home. Our customer of tomorrow is being trained at a young age. They are also being conditioned to like our brand because we have tools they want to use. My 2 year old only wants to shop at Food Lion because they have the "lil cart" As much as I would like to shop at Harris Teeter it is met with total resistence by the decision maker in our house just because they don't have the tools.

Happy Twitter Tuesday! Tweetlister is the Twitter Treat of the week! My 2 year old loves Tuesdays. It is amazing that at such a young age we can get used to routine and expect the same things to occur at the same time. Every morning when we drive to daycare she tells me what they are going to have for morning snack. She asks what day is it and I tell her Tuesday. She says "Yah!" and claps her hands. Speechless Sunday - Baby Deer We have 2 six acre ponds in the back yard so we see deer at least 2-3 times per day. As the baby and I were walking this week we saw this baby deer laying near a tree. It was the smallest deer I have ever seen. We thought that it was hurt so we quitely walked up to it. It stayed there long enough for us to go in and get our camera.
