Winter can be a challenging time in real estate...so I am told.  Many agents decide to take it easy, go on vacation, stay home instead of working an open house.  If you are one of these people....stop it!  It's as easy as that!  (well maybe take a vacation...I'm not crazy)  I know this sounds ridiculous and condescending, but it is truly sincere.  Now is the time to work harder!  One thing is certain, people will ALWAYS buy and sell their homes so why not with you?  Let your potential sellers know that this is a great time to sell because there is less inventory now than there will be in the spring.  Let your buyers know that this is a great time to buy because sellers might be a little nervous about the lack of showings on their home and may be willing to negotiate a better price.  Both of these statements are absolutely true.  We cannot predict the future of the market, but I believe we have the power to control our present.  Starting up again in the spring is too late!  Action now will not only give you a profitable winter, but also and unbelievable spring!
