Relationships online and everywhere else... - 02/23/11 08:45 PM
As I watched an online drama (or maybe it was a comedy) unfold today, a couple of bible verses came to mind.  One was about turning the other cheek and the other was from Romans 12:18, "If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone."  As the verse implies, sometimes that is not possible.  Some people are just difficult and unfair. 
Later I thought about a prose/poem that was popular "back in the day".  I even had a plaque of this on the wall of my bedroom back then.  You may or may not think it's corny but I kind of like it.

San Antonio TX Real Estate up by 11% from last year - 02/20/11 10:36 PM
According to the January 2011 Multiple Listing Service report by the San Antonio Board of Realtors, things are looking up for our market.
~922 - Total number of sales for January 2011, an 11% increase from January 2010.
~$179,802 - Average price for single-family homes in January 2011, a 3% increase from this
  time one year ago.
~$144,700 - Median price for single-family homes, a 4% increase from January 2010.
~1,150 - Number of pending sales for January 2011.

My favorite Superbowl commercial - 02/07/11 02:20 PM
"You can't spell Texas without HEB"...  This is my favorite Superbowl commercial. I'm not sure if it was shown nationwide or just locally. If you move to San Antonio, this is where you will be shopping for your groceries because this is the only grocery store in town!Of course, there is a Whole Foods, a Sun Harvest, and a commissary here but HEB is the only real "grocery store" in San Antonio.

This is NOT why I live in San Antonio!  The weather we are currently enduring is just not right...
Some of the reasons I love living in San Antonio include the city's mild winters, wonderful people, great restaurants, interesting history, enriching culture, low cost of living, relaxed atmosphere, and much more. 
I do NOT enjoy power outages, wrapping pipes, wearing layers of clothing, covering plants, keeping my pets inside 24/7, and all the inconveniences that come with cold weather. 
The predicted snow flurries haven't arrived yet and although snow would be a pretty sight, I would rather it fall somewhere else, thank you.
