A Plethora Of Misinformation Always Makes For Interesting Discussions - 02/28/12 05:08 PM
It is important to be a critical reader and question what you read. While the internet is a library of good information, there is also a lot of information out there that is not factual. Check the source of any information you read to make sure the source is reliable before you post about it and ruin your own credibility.
Think about your readers. Think about how scary it could be to a military family reading your post stating that they will lose their benefits if they go through a foreclosure or short sale, information that you didn't even bother to verify.

Military Discounts for Active, Reserve, and Retired Vets - 02/09/12 04:34 PM
Here is a great list of military discounts for active, reserve, and retired military veterans via Anita Clark. Note: I read that Home Depot only gives discounts to disabled vets but Lowe's gives discounts to all vets.
Remember to show your military or retired ID. Happy shopping!
Verify with the store/organization that the discount is still available. Participation by business owners is at their discretion.
