 EARLIER THIS YEAR A PAST CLIENT CALLED TO TELL ME SHE WAS MOVING.  but SHE DIDN'T KNOW WHERE SHE WANTED TO GO.  YOU SEE HER HOME HAD GOTTEN TO BE TO MUCH TO HANDLE, BECAUSE OF HER AGE, AND SHE WAS NOT ABLE TO KEEP IT UP.  LIVING ALONE HAD BECOME A BURDEN.  YOU SEE WHAT IS SO SPECIAL ABOUT THIS STORY IS:
I HELPED HER BUILD THIS "DREAM HOME" FROM THE GROUND UP.  SHE RAISED HER CHILDREN THERE.  SHE LOST HER HUSBAND THERE, AND ON JULY 30 THIS YEAR SHE LOST HER BATTLE WITH CANCER THERE.

There are S L O W times in the homes market.  But a buyers needs do not necessarily coincide with the Holidays.  So in the past, I have written offers for out of town buyers on Christmas Eve.  Some will use the extra days available to them during the holidays to make their purchase.  If your home is priced competitively, looks good, anytime is the right time.

9 YEARS AGO, WE CALL CAME TOGETHER TO MOURN, TO PUT THE PIECES BACK, TO HELP OUR NEIGHBOR AND TO VOW THIS WOULD NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN.  "VENGEANCE IS MINE" SAID THE LORD.  HOWEVER
...HE DID NOT SAY WE COULDN'T HELP HIM.

9-11 A PRAYER FOR OUR COUNTRY ON THIS DAY OF REMEMBERANCE - 09/11/10 08:27 AM
LIVES CHANGED........FOREVER.  OUR COUNTRY LOST MANY OF OUR CITIZENS THAT DAY.  THE REST OF US LOST OUR CHILDHOOD BELIEF THAT NOTHING MAN MADE COULD HURT THIS COUNTRY AS IT DID ON THAT DAY.
YET, WE HAVE IN THE PAST RECOVERED FROM CATASTROPHIC HAPPENINGS.  BUT WHEN WE DID RECOVER, WE CAME AWAY KNOWING THAT WE WOULD JUST FIGHT HARDER AND LONGER TO MAKE SURE THIS WOULD OR COULD NOT HAPPEN AGAIN.

Labor can be defined in many ways.  Some of us think of Labor as only those who sling the hammer, drive the truck, and work the machines.  I think we need to realize that the Dr, Nurse, Salesman,teacher etc. should be thought of when we speak of our labor force.  We also need to salute the self employed of this country, who struggle every day.  Sometimes without insurance, a weekly paycheck.  They are the ones who provide jobs for others, and face the challenge of keeping the business going everyday.  The excitement of being self employed is sometimes weighed down with … (6 comments)
