\I have to sell real estate sometime.  But I keep spending my time blogging. Maybe a horse and buggy will be in our future.  Cars eat corn(ethanol) Horses eat corn too.  I bet horses won't use quite as much and we could figure out what to do with the biproducts.(phew)  Our money buys us less and less.  Less gas, food,clothing.  Where are the trains?  What happened to mass transit.  Indianapolis does not have it.  Half our busses run with 1 or 2 people in them.  Personally I love the little golf cart we drive around our apartment complex.

I would love to salute Coach Katerina for all her help these past few months.  I do not know which came first Realbird, Activerain or Coach Katerina.  I have done expired listings since the 70s and I was not getting the response I wanted, so I thought taking a class from Coach Katerina might just give me the thing I needed to add a little spark to my own ideas.  It worked.  Soon after that, I took her SEO class, and then her SEO extreme class.  I certainly admit to not understanding all that she taught, but I have it available … (3 comments)

I will begin by telling you a few things that I have gained from my newfound friends:
A wonderful feeling of belonging to a group that cares.  Cutting edge knowledge that has been shared with me.
A group to lose weight.  Somewhere to share my feelings, both my public, and to you all privately.  It is good to compare notes, vent, and ask questions.  For those of us in the Real Estate industry, whether it be inspections, mortgages, title work, selling, listing, brokering, it is a great place.  And there is so much more.  I can't thank you all for sharing … (3 comments)

Last evening, my husband and I passed the Mexican restaurant  on our way to the post office.  Passing by prompted us to try another new restaurant.  This time Italian.  Again it was an old abandoned Pizza Hut building.  We like supporting our local owners, more so than the chain restaurants.  When we arrived at 5pm, the parking lot was empty, and we immediately thought it would be another struggling "boss".  We were greatly surprised when we entered.  Tables were prepared, tablecloths, plates, napkins, glasses and the works.  The surrounding walls were colorful and trendy in typical Italian decor.  We were greeted … (2 comments)

Why are so many of us driven to be our own boss?  Is it the freedom that comes with the title?  Is it the dream that just won't go away?  Is it to make a lot of money? Only each boss knows his motivation.  Do we realize that the 9-5, secure paycheck turns into a 12-20 and insecurity?  No insurance?

I I wake each morning, with my cup of coffe and move to my desk and watch the birds, along with Blondie, Frady and Kitty.
The show begins with every kind of bird here in central Indiana.  We have several feeders and thistle socks that hang like ornaments in front of our windows.  We so enjoy this display of cooperation among the birds.  The only one that is not welcome is the "hawk".  But it is only about survival, they all sense that here is here only for a meal.  They do not want to be his breakfast.  This wonderful community of birds … (2 comments)

QR codes-the coming thing.  W H A T? 
So now my listings on Realbird have automaticQRcodes.  I Can have my ownQRcode.  I understand what they are, I understand how they work.  But I cannot get my Android phone to read the QR codes.  I am most certainly not going to print or buy stickers and publish QR codes if I do not what they say........

I NEED TO SHARE WITH YOU OUR CHRISTMAS TRADITION.  I MUST FIRST EXPLAIN THAT WE HAVE NO GRAND CHILDREN, ALTHOUGH WE RAISED 3 LOVELY DAUGHTERS.  EACH FOR THEIR OWN REASONS.
PRESENTS.......PRESENTS..............PRESENTS................WHAT DO YOU BUY FOR EACH MEMBER OF THE FAMILY.  YEARS PAST PRESENTS UNDER THE TREE, PRESENTS EVERYWHERE.  ALL OF US TRYING TO SHOW HOW MUCH WE LOVED EACH OTHER.  CERTAINLY NOT TO OUTDO THE OTHER, BUT JUST WHEN IS ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.  WE ALSO HAD SPOUSE FAMILIES TO CONSIDER IN THE EQUATION.
