According to the Indiana Association of REALTORS® “Indiana Real Estate Markets Report” there are 3 important housing market signs that are up year over year.
When comparing September 2010 to 2011’s for Indiana:
·The rate of sales closed homes increased by 10.2% to 5,163;
·The average sales price of properties increased by 5.5% to $115,000; &
·The median sales price of properties increased by 5.9% to $138,543.
1 more important sigh, however, was a slight decrease. The number of sales pending decreased to 4,597 or a total of 0.4%.
