So, if you have read my blog at all, yu are aware that I work in Jersey City and NYC doing apartment rentals. Many of the apartments I advertise are open listings, and a good deal of the inventory I have are our exclusive listings in the office. I would like to expand my inventory of apartments, I am going out and knocking on doors and contacting landlords. No takers yet, but I am sure I will get some of my own apartment listings. I had another one of my infamous clients friend come in today, he was about to waste my time and I was about to let him waste mine, but I didn't let myself get sucked back into the vortex. The kids has been asking me "is that a safe area" since I met him, obviously I can't promote one area over another as a Realtor, but I always do my best for my client as all Realtors would do. petty people. My customers from yesterday ended up calling me this morning and evidently if the building were able to drop $100 from the price the noise at the Beer Garden in Jersey City, NJ 07302 would not bother them. Now the management company prices their apartments to move and this one was priced taking into consideration what goes on downstairs, but as much as I explained there would be no reduction in rent my customers insisted.
