Inventory is really tight right now downtown.  We're getting into the busy season, May, June, July and August--I am sure there will be more things available but right now everything is tight!  Consumers must also realize that it is way too early to start looking for apartments that are 60 days out! 
I had someone call me last night looking to move in July or August and she wanted to see places.  I explained to her that anything we saw will not be available in July or August--it is extrememly too early to start looking.  I explained this to her but … (0 comments)

Here's an interesting article I found on Zillow, I take it with a grain of salt, there still seems to be a ton of NO FEE apartments in NYC, albeit they are in the financial distirct (where  studio runs about $3000 per month).
 
Bad news for college grads moving to Manhattan: You can't live here for under $1,300. As a rule, if you are living in Manhattan, it's not impossible, but it's very hard to find anything under $1,300 or $1400.Rents aren't actually that much higher than last year. Things are moving right along in our little office, over this past week there has been a lot of tension in the office as we have been going through some growing pains.  It's both interesting and disturbing at the same time.  I am forced to think about reasons why I am at DBB, both positively and negatively.  Does that make any sense?

Well, we have a new listing, 63 Sheridan Av Lodi, NJ 07644.  This a a really nice starter home, in a great neighborhood.  Obviously Bergen County, is a nice place to be, so why not take a look at it.  There's anice backyard, there are 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms, with a finished basement.  It's priced at $339,000, bring your buyers!
Also, had a great day, commission check arrived for the rental in Tenafly, why don't all clients pay this quickly.  It's been a pretty good week, did 4 deals this week!

As I sit here eating a delicious pumpking soup I made yesterday--man is it good, it's a very simple soup, I complicated it by throwing in some seafood!  I think about is it because we feel so self important that we think everyone needs to hear the wisdom we have to share?  Is it some type of cathartic process which helps us come to terms with our career?  Is it purely for web presence so we can get 'ranked' somewhere out there in the nebulous world we call the Internet/world...

Well, I am sorry I have been so remiss to write my blog in the last several months.  It has been an extremely busy summer, I am avaeraging 5 to 6 rentals per week.  It's been very hectic, a lot has happened sine my last post.
DBB Realty is now the EXCLUSIVE rental company for Liberty Harbor (9 Regent St Jersey City, NJ 07302 & 30 Regent St Jersey City, NJ 07302), these relatively new luxury apartments are really great.  Here are some of the features:

petty people.  My customers from yesterday ended up calling me this morning and evidently if the building were able to drop $100 from the price the noise at the Beer Garden in Jersey City, NJ 07302 would not bother them.  Now the management company prices their apartments to move and this one was priced taking into consideration what goes on downstairs, but as much as I explained there would be no reduction in rent my customers insisted.  I made the call--guess what someone else had taken the apartment--HA, HA!
