Home site for sale in prestigious Terra Mont: 20310 Terra Run, San Antonio, Texas 78255 - 01/28/12 10:16 AM
My clients had been making plans to build their dream home on this beautiful lot in Terra Mont in northwest San Antonio, after interviewing several custom builders. Then they got a job offer they couldn't refuse and decided to stay put, so the lot is for sale. A tree and topo survey was done (and is available to review), and the sellers had even gotten to the stage of drawing up house plans. Terra Mont is situated on a ridgeline of hills next to the Westin La Cantera resort in the Hill Country northwest of the San Antonio metro. It has 290 acres (3 comments)
SOLD! Charming home with pool, spa and sunroom at 5426 Mountain Vista Drive, San Antonio, TX 78247 - 01/28/12 09:53 AM
This lovingly maintained home was supposed to have been the retirement haven for my clients. In the last couple of years they have done numerous upgrades and additions to the home to make it exactly what they wanted. It has a new Florida room, a new roof, and a new water softener. In addition, most of the pool equipment has been replaced. The native Texas landscaping around the pool was planted after a retaining wall was replaced to support the pool. But with the return of their grown kids and grandchildren to San Antonio, my clients' needs changed. They decided to (1 comments)

I wrote a post a couple of years ago about some San Antonio real estate agents overstepping their bounds, in my opinion, by requiring all home sellers to purchase a new survey, even if the existing survey is acceptable. Something along the same lines happened just the other day. In talking with an agent whose listing in north-central San Antonio has been vacant for months, I suggested that my buyers might want to sign a temporary lease for a few days. They are crammed into an extended-stay motel, and would love to start moving their items out of storage and cleaning the house. In addition, (8 comments)
Pardon me, I seem to have spammed - 01/10/12 09:49 AM
Over the last couple of days, I suddenly received an onslaught of email marked Undeliverable. The attachment subjects were cryptic and profane, including exhortations to various people not to wash their hair with the shampoo from some advertisement. Needless to say, I promptly deleted them unread. I am not a shampoo expert, so I would not have thought of emailing everyone in my address book on the subject. In fact, I wouldn't have emailed everyone in my address book anyway. I don't recognize the email addresses of the folks to whom I supposedly sent advice on hair products. But the return address on (6 comments)
