Discoverability is key in getting quality leads from the web. There are good success stories of great real agents enhancing their web presence and realizing the potential of a great website.

I would like to start a series of small tips that you can easily implement.

Title:

Do you know the title of your site. This is displayed at the very top left. Title has the biggest impact in determining what your site is about. Coming up with an effective title will define a strong identity for your site.

Example:

Problem - Currently the title tag on the home page says "Valley Homes".

Recommendation - To be more descriptive, and to incorporate more words that people would use when searching for a this agent, it's suggested that the title tag be changed to something like "Maple Valley Area Homes, Current Listings Mortgage Tips to help Buy Sell Your Home."

Within few weeks there is a considerable difference in the rankings!.

The title tag is a good opportunity to get in some specific keywords, rather than simply listing the name or unrelated title.

But We have our own set of ideas and this how we want this service to be different. Here are few ideas.

We will make this site exclusive to Real Estate and focus on Active Rain community only. We do not want to focus on anything else.
We are committed to adding features that you find in other premium sites. Please send us your feature requests. We want this to be driven from this great community.This is your site you can drive it any way. We will provide development expertise to make your features happen.

Apart from this we dont have anything else.
