I just heard that budge travel is running a contest for America'sCoolest Small town.  Sandpoint Idaho is a finalist.  We have a long wayto go to win, but with your help we may make a dent.  This is a great opportunity for the Idaho Panhandle to be a recognized destination in the west.  If you have ever been to Sandpoint, and know how much we have to offer, please come cast your vote. Poll closes May 9, 2010

So why don't banks make loans assumable??? - 03/19/10 06:16 PM
When starting my real estate career in back in the 80's, it was not uncommon for buyers to assume or take over existing financing. Just about every sale involved a wraparound financing and It was a perfect solution to sell a home in a rough market. There were no loan origination fees or points, and buyers were often willing to pay a little higher for a home that had an assumable loan.
