The classes will cover cool season and warm season grasses pros and cons of both and what it takes to care for each type of grass. The park is always utilized by people and their canines.&lt;span style=""&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;The dogs run free and socialize with other dogs and the owners meet and greet other dog owners in the community.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;"&gt;On March 2 starting at 10:00 A.M. there will be a two hour Canine Carnival in the park.&lt;span style=""&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;Live music by Craig Gleason, caricature sketches of people with their pets, trained dog demonstrations.&lt;span style=""&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;There are two contests: best tricks contest and the posh pups (doggie fashions).&lt;span style=""&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;The registration deadline for the contests is Feb. 27.&lt;span style=""&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;Go to &lt;/span&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.johnscreekga.gov/"&gt;&lt;span style="color: #0000ff; font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;"&gt;www.johnscreekga.gov&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;"&gt; for further information.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="line-height: 115%; font-size: 12pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Calibri;"&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;Those residents of Fulton county and those outside of the county using Fulton water, the new rate will go into effect Feb. 1, 2013. &lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;The new water rate is $2.90 per 1000 gallons of water; the new sewer rate is $5.51 per 1000 gallons of water. &lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;For the water that is a 12 cents&amp;nbsp;reduction from the old rate of $3.02 per gallon, for the sewer&amp;nbsp;it is a&amp;nbsp;23 cents&amp;nbsp;reduction from the old rate of $5.74 per gallon, multiply those amounts by the gallons used to see your savings. &lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;Over a period of a year, the savings will mount up. &lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;"&gt;M&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;"&gt;any, many documents to sign at closing, one of the most significant is the Promissory Note.&lt;span style=""&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;The name in itself is pretty explanatory: borrower&amp;rsquo;s personal obligation to repay the loan.&lt;span style=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;The Note&lt;/span&gt;&amp;nbsp;contains all the pertinent facts of the loan. The loan amount, the interest rate, monthly principal and interest payment, first payment due date, maturity date, borrower&amp;rsquo;s right to prepay, and late payments.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Calibri;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;strong style=""&gt;Loan Amount &lt;/strong&gt;This amount should be the same amount of the loan that appears on the HUD Settlement Statement. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Calibri;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;strong style=""&gt;Interest Rate&lt;span style=""&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;span style=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;An explanation of the interest rate indicating if it is fixed or adjustable.&lt;span style=""&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;If the interest rate is adjustable the formula for calculating the rate for each adjustment, what index the adjustment is based on, the interest points above that index, and the cap on the loan.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Calibri;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;strong style=""&gt;Monthly Principal and Interest Payment&lt;span style=""&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;span style=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;showing the amount of principal being borrowed and the interest to be paid by the borrower.&lt;span style=""&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;It does not include the amount for taxes, hazard insurance or mortgage insurance.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Calibri;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;strong style=""&gt;First Payment Due Date for the Borrower &lt;span style=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;Normally at closing the borrower pays prepaid interest (listed on the HUD Settlement Statement).&lt;span style=""&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;Thus the borrower&amp;rsquo;s first payment is due on the first day of the second full month following closing.&lt;span style=""&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;If no prepaid interest was paid by the borrower the first payment will be due one month from the closing date.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Calibri;"&gt;&lt;strong style=""&gt;Maturity Date &lt;/strong&gt;The date the loan will be paid off.&lt;span style=""&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Calibri;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;strong style=""&gt;Borrower&amp;rsquo;s Right to Prepay&lt;span style=""&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;This paragraph will state whether or not the borrower will be penalized for paying the loan off early.&lt;span style=""&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;If the Note does not indicate there is a penalty, there could be a rider attached indicating the terms of a prepayment penalty.&lt;span style=""&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;In Georgia if there is no paragraph in the note, or rider attached providing for a prepayment penalty, then the borrower can prepay the loan in whole or part any time prior to the maturity date of the loan.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Calibri;"&gt;&lt;strong style=""&gt;Late Payments &lt;/strong&gt;This paragraph states the grace period (if there is one) and the terms of the penalties if the monthly payment is made late.&lt;span style=""&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;These penalties will depend on the type of loan.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="line-height: 115%; font-size: 12pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Calibri;"&gt;The Uniform Settlement Statement better known as the &amp;ldquo;HUD&amp;rdquo; designed by the Department of Housing and Urban Development is required to be used on all loan closings covered by RESPA.&lt;span style=""&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;The Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (1974) was passed to ensure all consumers are provided information regarding the cost of mortgage settlements and to protect them from &lt;span style=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;abusive costly practices.&lt;span style=""&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;RESPA is administered and enforced by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="line-height: 115%; font-size: 12pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Calibri;"&gt;The HUD is usually sent to the agent by the closing office (attorney&amp;rsquo;s office in Georgia) a day or two before the transaction is scheduled to close.&lt;span style=""&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;The agent reviews the HUD to ensure all the numbers are correct, and then presents it to his client.&lt;span style=""&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;The agent goes over it with his client to ensure the buyer/seller fully understands the charges and everything is correct.&lt;span style=""&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="line-height: 115%; font-size: 12pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Calibri;"&gt;The HUD shows all the debits and credits of the transaction. The form has two sides, one the borrower&amp;rsquo;s side and the other the seller&amp;rsquo;s side.&lt;span style=""&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;The first page is a summary of all the charges, and listed by category.&lt;span style=""&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;On the second page of the HUD breaks down all the summary amounts on the first page. There are standard items which are designated to be paid by the buyer or seller, ex. seller paying off a mortgage, located on the seller&amp;rsquo;s side of the form. &lt;span style=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;Other costs of closing will depend on the sales contract agreed to by the buyer and seller.&lt;span style=""&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;In some cases lender guidelines and local law will determine who pays certain charges. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="line-height: 115%; font-size: 12pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Calibri;"&gt;The HUD by giving all the details of the transaction makes it clears for consumers what they must pay.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

Buildings and landmarks across the country will be decorated in red, including the famous Macy&amp;rsquo;s Herald Square. &lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;Many women are unaware of the threat of the disease, according to the association, only one in five women know the disease is the leading killer of women. The focus of the campaign is to raise awareness of &lt;em&gt;heart disease&lt;/em&gt; as the number one killer of women in this country.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;There is so much to be said about owning your own home, top on the list the financial benefits and next the sense of pride that comes along with homeownership.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;In spite of the debacle of the subprime mortgage fall out, many Americans still desire a home of their own.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;It is just seems to be synonymous with raising a family.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Set up automatic savings &lt;/strong&gt;have 5%-10% of your paycheck automatically transferred to a savings account.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;You never see this money in your account, so you can&amp;rsquo;t spend it.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Coupons &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;when reviewing your food budget plan your menus around the items that are on sale, clip and use coupons, aggressively.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;Don&amp;rsquo;t be afraid to ask you grocer to match prices. You will be surprised how much it will save you.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Lunch &lt;/strong&gt;do you go out to lunch every day and spend at least $10.00? Imagine that is $50.00 per week, $200 a month, $2400 a year.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;$2400 added to your other savings!!!!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Coffee &lt;/strong&gt;perhaps that coffee habit of $5.00 a day, you could kick. $5.00 a day times 5=$25.00 a week, $100 a month, $1200 a year. &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Utility Bills &lt;/strong&gt;many electronics in the home do not need to be plugged in continuously.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;Why leave the microwave or toaster oven plugged in all day while you are at work, unplug chargers when not in use, and turn off lights when you are not in a room. &lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;Don&amp;rsquo;t turn the water on and walk away; don&amp;rsquo;t leave the water running when you brush your teeth. You will see the difference in your utility bills.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Unused Stuff &lt;/strong&gt;how about those items you bought and used once, or never used.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;Go through your stuff and sell those items.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Special Skills &lt;/strong&gt;do you have a special skill, why not market your skill and services to make extra money.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Employer &lt;/strong&gt;work overtime when possible&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Bridal Registry &lt;/strong&gt;you can set up a bank account for your monetary wedding gifts&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span&gt;The Barbara Lewis king Scholarship Committee an arm of the Barbara Lewis King Foundation is making plans for their 2013 fundraising event.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;Since 1997 this committee&amp;rsquo;s fundraisers&amp;rsquo; have enabled the foundation to give over 250 scholarships to college bound students.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span&gt;The fundraising event for 2012 was &amp;ldquo;An Evening with the Dancing Stars of Atlanta.&amp;rdquo;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;The event featured a dance competition with sassy salsa dancers, and swinging steppers.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;Joey Sommerville internationally renowned trumpeter headlining the entertainment and Chandri Morton singer and former Barbara Lewis King Scholarship recipient performed. Cute little Miss Kennedy Rayford danced her way through a tribute to Michael Jackson. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span&gt;The charismatic Ms. Xernona Clayton (Founder, President and CEO of the Trumpet Awards Foundation) was the mistress of ceremony.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;Ms. Clayton energized the affair with her vibrant wit and humor, the room continually overflowed with laughter.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;Bishop Dr. Barbara King along with her partner Dr. Mark Armstrong opened the dancing competition by having the first dance.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span&gt;The dance competition was comprised of sassy salsa dancers, swinging steppers, and specialty dancers. The dynamic judges were Ms. Egypt Sherrod Atlanta Radio personality and HGTV host, Josh Powell professional basketball player, and Andrew Worthem professional dancer and choreographer.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;The swanky Beulah Boys, decked out in their black suits, captivated the audience with their line dancing and then opened it up to audience participation.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;Guess who joined the Beulah Boys? Mayor Kasim Reed. Yes, the mayor attended the event, mingled with the audience, and took pictures with many of the guests.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span&gt;The proceeds from the event funded the scholarship awards given to thirteen college bound high school seniors.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"&gt;The Mortgage Forgiveness Debt Relief Act was a temporary law enacted in 2007 to assist homeowners who were underwater on their homes, and were considering a short sale or who faced foreclosure. &lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;The IRS considers any housing debts that is forgiven or written off by a lender as income. This bill exempts the homeowner from paying federal taxes on the balance of their mortgages after a short sale or foreclosure.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"&gt;This tax break was due to expire on Dec. 31, 2012, those homeowners involved in a short sale, loan modification or even facing foreclosure along with other industry related professionals were gravely concerned about the extension of the bill.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;Many realized if the bill was not extended it could have a grave impact on a housing market struggling to survive.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
