21st Annual Ocean to Bay Bike Tour - 04/13/10 05:47 AM
One of the biggest spring events comes to town this Saturday - the 21st Annual Ocean to Bay Bike Tour.  Organized by the Bethany-Fenwick Chamber of Commerce, the bike tour is open to cyclists of all ages and skill levels.  Participant will choose between a 25, 35 or 50 mile course map and completion is optional.
The courses wind through the inland bays, back roads, and beaches in beautiful lower Sussex County and the weather forecast is looking good.  
You need to be pre-registered and the tour starts are 8:30 Saturday morning in downtown Bethany Beach.

Update for the Week Ending April 2nd - 04/04/10 10:07 PM
Stronger than expected Employment data and the end of the Fed's MBS purchase program were negative for mortgage markets. Mortgage rates ended the week at the highest levels since January.  Although the Freddie Mac survey Thursday had the average 30 year fixed rate at 5.08% with 0.7% discount points, we actually ended the week even higher at 5.125% with 0.75% discount points.  (See current rates HERE - Rate Sheet)  However, the last couple of days in the week saw relatively low volume in the MBS markets and Friday the market was only open a couple of hours.
