The Charlevoix Marina and East Park reconstruction project is moving ahead.  As you can see from these photos, the bandshell, along with the old harbormaster and chamber of commerce buildings have been demolished to make way for the new harbormaster building and performance pavilion.

I was saddened to read the obituary of former Charlevoix resident Army Major Douglas E.
