Tennis properties in Sandpoint? We've got 'em! - 06/30/11 12:33 AM
Most who read my blog know that I coach the Sandpoint High School tennis team (when I'm not playing full-time Realtor).  As a result, I get a fair amount of inquiries about the availability of "tennis properties" here.  In fact, I get a fair amount of inquiries asking if anyone "really" knows how to play tennis in North Idaho.
The answers are...we DO have many tennis-oriented properties available at any given time and, yes, we do play real tennis in North Idaho.  In fact, we have a VERY active tennis community!  The Sandpoint Tennis Association has about 80 active members who … (1 comments)

It has been awhile since I have written a "hyper-local" post but, right now, I just can't help myself.  I have owned property in Sandpoint, Idaho (75 miles north of Spokane, WA) since 1978.  In all those years, I have never found myself in the famous Anthony's Restaurant situated directly on top of the overwhelming beauty of Spokane Falls.  As I sit at my table viewing the splendor I am truly amazed.

Another huge year for tennis in Sandpoint, Idaho! - 06/05/11 07:37 PM
Living in Sandpoint definitely has its rewards.  Being a Coldwell Banker Realtor® on Schweitzer Mountain is reward enough...no doubt, but coaching the Sandpoint High School tennis team takes "rewards" to a whole new level.
It's all about the kids and these kids are amazing!  This Spring, Sandpoint won the District championship for the 3rd straight year and qualified a record 12 players for State!  The Sandpoint girls not only won Conference & District championships but also won the Idaho State Academic Championship with a cumulative GPA of 3.87!  The boys team suffered an "anemic" 3.5 cumulative GPA.  In other words, not … (2 comments)

People often ask me, "How do you like working on the mountain?  What's it like in the summer?"  
My reply?
"This is THE greatest place to work...and even better to play!"  It's true, Schweitzer had an EPIC snow year with some of the best powder skiing The Rockies have ever seen but summer can be almost as exhilerating!  The weekend music festivals are fast approaching. Biking & hiking will take a little longer...there is still about six feet of snow on the Schweitzer slopes.
