moose: Northern Exposure is alive & well in Sandpoint, Idaho

I hear comparisons of Sandpoint with Alaska over & over. In fact, there are many former Alaskans living here in North Idaho as they try to come close to duplicating their experience in the 49th state without the inconvenience of living so far away from the rest of us down here in the "48 contiguous". The constant invasion of moose in our local neighborhoods help make our Alaskan friends feel right at home. We never get tired of our gangly moose buddies! I was reading Jenny Kotulak's post about Moose tonight and noticed for the first time the MOOSE MONDAY group. Well...I had to join you guys! North Idaho has moose everywhere, including a family that lives right in our backyard! Unfortunately, the only moose photo I could find at such short notice is a shot of one from September out at a listing of mine called Salishan Point here in Sandpoint.
