Are the investors taking away the opportunities of the first time buyers in Orange County  Ever since the beginning of the year the Tide has turned.
Last year there were tons of home on the market and buyers were sitting on the fence waiting, wondering if the market was going to continue to go down. Uncertainty is the thing that makes people wait too long.
Last year you could negotiate with the seller a little bit and get a better than list price. Infact, your could still get a deal because rates were extremely low, and prices were low. Sellers were motivated.

Dont Miss This weeks Newport Harbor Christmas Boat Parade This year's parade event started last night and will extend thorough Sunday night.  It is a short season but well worth seeing. Get your dinner reservations, sit on bar stools or just stand along the harbor and watch the beautiful lite parade.
Do like we did and rent an electric boat and just sit on the side lines while they pass you, or go just late enough to see all the boats lite up but not traveling yet

Lots of choices for Halloween Parties last night. Gooblins and pirates and spooky creatures were roaming last night all over Orange County.
We happened in on the Party at Brio's Restaurant in Dana Point, a stones throw from the Ritz Carlton and the St Regis Resort. But tonight was filled with locals dressing up as Pirates, Marie Antonette, Jeannie and the Astronut, and many more.

 We went over to the Newly Opened Newly Renovated NEW Port Theater in Corona Del Mar last night.  It was such a delight to be able to walk to the Theater and enjoy a great Movie.  "Arbitrage" was playing with Richard Gere and Susan Serandon. 
The NEW Port Theater does not have it's liquor license yet so the choice on the menu was minimal. They are looking for signatures on their petition so stop by and sign. They are planning on using their full kitchen facility as soon as they get enough signatures and their … (2 comments)

Bargain hunters are always looking for a steal and according to many housing experts this weak market is ending and they must get off the fence and buy now or lose their opportunity.
Home prices are down 34% from the top of the market and with interest rates at historic lows it has have never been more affordable. They may have been cheaper but rates are at a 40 year low and income when they were cheaper were a lot lower.

Fannie Mae’s latest National Housing Survey shows that the majority of Americans continue to expect no change in mortgage rates over the next 12 months. However, their expectations for home prices have improved for the fourth month in a row, with respondents expecting prices to go up by 1 percent, on average, during the year.
