This town hall thing got me to thinking. How can the politicians continue to make us look so stupid? Why do we continue to let them do it? How did we become the bad guys for asking questions? Why don't we know what is going on in Washington when they are supposed to be working for us?

The simple truth folks is that they don't work for us. They work for that very small group that is in power. Sometimes they are Republicans and sometimes they are Democrats. They want to get re elected so they do what their leaders tell them to do. We are out of the picture. The only difference with this administration is that they are honest about it. They are now telling us they don't care.

I ask the citizens of this country from both sides how you can object OR support the health care bill? You don't know what's in it. They are making us look stupid again because we don't even know what we are arguing about.

Don't you just wonder why neither side has given us a bullit point breakdown of what is in the bill?

Don't you wonder why we never know what is in ANY major bill? Is it right to hide things in a bill?

I'll tell you something right now. It is time to stop being Republicans or Democrats or Independants and start being AMERICANS. It is time to stop fighting with each other and demand better service from the people we put in Washington. It is time to demand answers. It is time to demand results.

The longer they keep us fighting with each other, the longer they keep our eyes off the ball. We need to come together. We need to stop talking about how bad all the other guys are, but our guy is just great. THEY ALL NEED A WAKEUP CALL TO INCLUDE OUR GUY.
