With the ending of the Thanksgiving Weekend ends another SLOW week in Real Estate.
New Listings with a total of 6...4 condos and 2 single family homes were the only new things to hit the market.
Price Changes were slow too with only 10 trying to make a change in time for Turkey Day.  There were 4 condos that reduced their prices, 1 PUD (Planned Unit Development),  4 Single Family Homes and get this, one single family home actually RAISED the price $400K...WHAT a DEAL!  Either that or too much turkey.
New Escrows this week.  Ouch...only 2 and both were condos.

Ever catch yourself saying that?  Where is that note?  What did I do with it?  I know it's on my desk somewhere...or is it?
If someone gives you a business card, snap a picture of it with your phone. You then upload it to EVERNOTE, and it'll save & index it. It'll even be searchable. Do the same thing with wine labels, Post-Its on which you've scrawled thoughts and musings ... anything.  Leave yourself voice messages. Create to-do lists. Dear Friends in Washoe County District 1:
On October 27, the Washoe County Board of County Commissioners reviewed a county-wide Nuisance Ordinance. Due to the high level of public interest, I'm dedicating my monthly commissioner update to this topic.
This proposed ordinance would amend Washoe County Code, Chapter 50 by regulating 'community nuisances' in order to protect our neighborhoods by focusing on the health, safety and welfare of our residents. An example of regulated activities in the new ordinance includes operation of off-road vehicles and storage of junk cars.
