I am a property manager in Honolulu, Hawaii. I lease homes and apartments. I take hundreds of calls each week. It amazes me that on my voicemail, I tell people to leave their name and number, when they want to move and which property they are interested in. I also tell them to check the Rental Solutions Oahu website for available properties.

My broker has been tutoring me on contracts. I feel you can never be too thorough or detailed on the contracts. Each item must be reviewed and checked closely. Contracts hold legally for a long time. A small error can have huge consequences. I am really working on having perfect contracts.

I viewed a few unusual apartments for lease in Honolulu, Hawaii yesterday. One apartment had pink tile floors throughout the apartment. This was very bright and very unusual.
The other apartment had 6 ft. 2 inch ceilings. It said in the ad that it was a little apartment. They failed to mention it was for little people - at least short people.
Most places have interesting features, but these 2 apartments in Honolulu, Hawaii are more unusual than most.

Big waves up to 40 ft. tall are predicted to hit the north and west shores of Oahu, Hawaii tonight and then onto the other islands tomorrow.
Surfers are hopeful for the Eddie Aikau Surd Event tomorrow. This event can only be held when the waves are over 30ft. and has not been held since Dec. 9, 2009.
Residents and visitors in the north and west coastal areas are warned to be careful from possible danger and damage from the large waves enroute to Oahu, Hawaii and the other islands.

Oahu home sales rose 3.1% in 2010 to a median price of $592,750. The drop from 2007 to 2008 was 3% from $640,000 to $602,500. From 2008 to 2009 the drop was 7.3% down to $575,000
The price drop on housing in Oahu was not a large as most areas in America and the rebound is larger and faster.
There were 34% mores homes sold in 2010 than in 2009, an increase from 2690 to 3051.

Orchids are beautiful and fascinating plants. But the thought of growing orchids is intimidating to many gardeners.
Like many plants, orchids thrive in the right conditions and Honolulu, Hawaii has great conditions for growing orchids.
Orchids are picky about light before they bloom, but after they bloom they need at least 6 hours of light a day.
Orchids like the temperature 70-80 degrees which is perfect for Honolulu, Hawaii. Orchids like 40-80% humidity which is common in Honolulu, Hawaii. Many people put the orchids in pots and gravel in the bottom. The gravel is saturated with water to create a constant humidity.

I had not thought about this date as 1/1/11. This is a lucky day? How many times in our life do we have days where all the numbers are the same? This is a fun day to rememebr and write over and over. 4 ones have to mean something.
