Thankful for long-standing real estate industry relationships!

Early in my career, I began receiving referrals across the country from the brokerage where I worked. When they closed the doors, I continued to get calls from around the United States from offices who knew people wanting to buy or sell in southern Utah.

I gladly accepted the referrals, knowing they could have potentially called any agent in the area. One particular person has, without fail, recommended my services to consumers. I am forever grateful for the confidence she carried in me back then and to this day.

At least 75% of my transactions are referral based now. Without people-to-people relationships, we are … (6 comments)

Build the relationship and set the expectation.

Too many times in business, people chase the money. They often overlook the most important aspect of real estate, that it remains a people business. Spending quality time with buyers or sellers helps to create the trust aspect between parties. Rushing the process for selfish gain, shows lack of care and promotes self-gratification.

Today's consumers can see right through insincerity. Putting the clients wants and needs in front of your own will net favorable results and can gain a lifetime of referrals for family and friends. It's true, just ask me.

Happy sales all!

Get it right the first time, no Do-over's allowed!

Daybreak and day end, nature creates an amazing first impression. In real estate, a one-time opportunity awaits when meeting new clients. The connection made will determine the direction and longevity of the relationship.

Prove yourself as a capable real estate agent by:
Being prepared - Respect for clients shows in the work ethic. Ever on-the-ready to help them realize their home dreams matters.
Showing up on time - Punctuality shows respect for all involved. Set the alarm if necessary, just be there! Notify if you will be late also.
Meeting deadlines - Ensure clients wants and needs are satisfied and get paperwork signed by all parties in a … (8 comments)

Show up...
I gladly have a lifetime front row seat to our family's happenings. Is it ever enough just to show up? Not in my opinion, it takes being present with your heart and leaving the ego behind.

And in business, putting the ultra ego in check while keeping the clients goals in mind will also serve a person well. Happy sales all!

H.O.P.E - Have Only Positive Expectations.
I answer the phone when it rings and make myself available (unless another agent's client is on the other end, of course). Will I reap the rewards of a positive outcome every single time?

No, that is certain, but can:
Be accountable for my business results. Turn problems into a possible approach. Attain both short-term and long term goals.  Surround myself with capable, positive people. Stay tuned in to past and potential clients.  The last quarter of the year is quickly approaching. Avoid allowing anything to get in the way of achieving the set goals and that does include YOU and ME.

Happy Monday … (7 comments)
