St. George Area Chamber of Commerce Dixie Sunshiner's Christmas Party was enjoyed by all! A special THANK YOU to the Robinson's for hosting the St George Chamber of Commerce Dixie Sunshiner's Christmas luncheon in their home. Approximately forty members arrived at 12:00 noon to share a wonderful meal and be entertained. The pasta dishes included: Penne Sam Remo, Baked Sausage Rigatoni plus a mixed green salad with dressing and fresh baked house bread from Buca di Beppo (thank you Myrna for delivery) were delectable and the homemade sweet rolls that Dian made were h-e-a-v-e-n-l-y and like Terry Draper said, "Eating fluffy air!" Plus several pies (6 comments)

The St. George Area Chamber Dixie Sunshiners will be at the northbound and southbound Arizona/Utah Port of Entry on I-15 today as we show our appreciation to over-the-road haulers. A bag of goodies will be offered to every truck that passes through the port, donated by RMC Foods. Southern Utah relies heavily on the National Trucker’s Association to transport products to our area and ship them out as we have no train tracks to carry goods like other cities. The Trucker Appreciation event at the Port of Entry is sponsored by the Southern Utah (11 comments)

I awoke this morning, showered, got dressed, roused the boys, fed them and out the door we go to get them to school, all the while knowing that I had an important Monday morning meeting to attend. The Dixie Sunshiner's meet every Monday morning to discuss the week's agenda and to recap the past week's activities. Of course, being the astute member to attend such meetings, arrived early in time to see someone jump into the industrial dumpster in the parking lot. I kept trying to get a photo of his head popping up, it reminded me (27 comments)
Motivational Mondays: Is "Service to others" important to you? Have you heard the saying that "A person will be remembered for their service to others?" Do you believe it? Quite honestly, I do. That is one reason to get involved in community events and why I am a proud member of the St. George area Chamber of Commerce Dixie Sunshiners. We are a community oriented group that welcomes new businesses into the area by attending ribbon cuttings, open houses, also participating in parades, volunteering for local events throughout the year and taking part in the weekly Chamber luncheons. We average between 3 - (16 comments)
