Huntsman World Senior Games Welcomes 11,000+ Athletes in 2019!
Running October the 7th thru October the 19th, 2019, the Huntsman World Senior Games in the St. George, Utah area welcomes athletes 50 years and older from all over the world. People come from the 50 states and 34 different countries to compete in 30 sports venues.
The largest group is softball with over 350 teams, followed by volleyball with approximately 200 teams. The games were founded in 1987 by John and Daisy Morgan, who wanted to fill hotel rooms in St. George, Utah by bringing in an event fostering world peace, health and friendship.

Just give 'em something to call about. How about…?
When out-of-the-area buyers ask about things to do in southern Utah, I tell them the area is an outdoor playground just waiting to be discovered by visitors and residents alike. Golfing, hiking, climbing, biking, fishing, water skiing, parasailing, camping...

Fall into Southern Utah!
While many areas in the country are preparing for colder temperatures, southern Utah maintains at least high 70s to mid 80 degrees during the day with cooler, crisp mornings. The Huntsman World Senior Games are in full swing and the area offers an optimum setting for outdoor activities of all kinds.
The colors of the season are also still vibrantly alive. Perhaps this is why southern Utah is The Place to Be!

With more than 300 days of sunshine per year here in southern Utah, even the clouds hail salutations to that bright yellow orb! Exceptional weather year 'round allows outdoor events such as the St. George Marathon and the Huntsman World Senior Games, not to mention Ironman St. George to take place.
Living in the St. George area, reminds me of how lucky we are to live in such a place, rain -or- shine here in southern Utah!
