Kathleen Daniel's March Contest: No Fooling Around April 2017 Let’s Get Real Contest really got me to thinking about things that really bug me in this industry when, at the same time, there are so many facets I love. That being said, here goes!
 
One thing that bothers me more than anything are people who are guided by an ultra-ego, often placing themselves above everyone else. In my opinion, we all have something unique to offer consumers and success means something different to each of us.

Overexposure is risky business.
 
 
Recently, I sat across from a woman in a continuing education class who wore an extremely low-cut blouse. She shared stories about losing potential buyers to other agents during the initial time-frame of introductions. 
 
It reminded me of a title person who wears very revealing clothing during closings. This is definitely not the time for such distractions. Which leads me to wonder why some people feel the need to create that type of environment?
 
Overexposure can alienate peers, acquaintances and potential clients, sending them quickly in the other direction. In my opinion, dressing appropriately shows respect for everyone in a business transaction, any  professional situation for that matter.
