postive thinking: Do you believe in Karma?  - 02/18/22 08:32 AM
Do you believe in Karma?

As a matter of fact,  I do and have been contributing to the Karma Payment Plan for most of my life. So far, so good. I believe the 'what goes around, comes around' addage is anything put out into the universe.

Treating people with common courtesy and respect can ensure the same behavior will be reciprocated. The Golden Rule may not always apply with everyone you meet but is more likely to play true, than not.

To ensure that you are part of the Karma Payment Plan:
Be kind Be calm Be open Be true Be gentle Be loving Be … (48 comments)

postive thinking: Do you have a 2020 More List? - 12/31/19 05:24 PM
Do you have a 2020 More List?

Unlike making resolutions that are too lofty or not attainable and often broken, I decided to make a can do list for 2020.

Here is Mine: More dancing. More sunrises. More sunsets. More sunshine. More flowers. More gardening. More positivity. More hugs. More service. More understanding. More thankfulness. More laughter. More fun. More love. More gatherings. More creativity. More success.

Happy New Year all, may you be blessed with More! #Happy2020 #Leaving2019 #LookingAhead

Ensuring sentient fruition...

Create trusting partnerships with affiliates. Choose those who reach out consistently in good communication to ensure successful end results rather than leaving you hanging. In return, everyone gains professional service with a sincere commitment.

While walking through Nerdin Gardens, I noticed how the grape vines extend outward, grabbing one another to reinforce the weight of bearing fruit. The tendril curls allow branches to adjust the tension or to pull up on the support in place.

Nature knows by instinct how to implement and guarantee fruition. If we pay close attention to the simplest of standards, there is much we can learn and inact into our own businesses.

Nature's instinct holds tight, lending support, … (4 comments)

A most luminous halo refracting misty morning rays. ~ Wanda Kubat-Nerdin

Early to rise ensures the majority of detail work is completed so the rest of the day can be used for prospecting new clients and following up as necessary. My dad used to say that the day is wasted if you rise after 10:00am.

Of course, he was a dedicated military man who had a stringent schedule that was followed day in, day out. The disciplined work ethic he carried of getting up, dressing up and showing up was also passed down to me.

So, here I go to make the most of this beautiful … (14 comments)

Meeting one of our own - Alicia Gibson

On a recent trip to Georgia to visit family members, I left a message with Alicia, letting her know that my husband and would be arriving in Atlanta on April 19th, staying until the 24th, that I'd love to meet.

She drove an hour and a half to my Uncle Stan and Aunt Vesmar's to get some face-to-face time! We have been ActiveRainer's for many years, creating an online friendship. She loved the piggy stories!

Alicia is a very successful Associate Broker at McLeRoy Realty, INC in Zebulon, Georgia, originally from Tegucigalpa, Honduras. She is happily married to Wayne and … (11 comments)

Short-term or long-term success goals are just a business plan away. It is never too soon or late to write thoughts down on paper. They will be set to motion and guide you through the new year to a prosperous end when implemented consistently and thoughtfully.

Back in 2010, I originally wrote this motivational post based on past experience and now realize the list continues to stand on its own merit! This is the year to capitalize on strengths and improve in areas to drive your business forward, ensuring overall success.

postive thinking: Share the LOVE. - 11/28/15 12:09 AM
Share the LOVE.

Stay in touch with past clients throughout the year. Call for a quick chat or send them a Thinking of You card. I am a firm believer of referrals...happy clients do refer their friends and family!

Also, be sure to tell your family, friends and peers about your business expectations for the coming year. Share your dreams and what you LOVE. They can and do come true, when and if you pursue!

Happy sales all!

postive thinking: You are my sunshine... - 09/01/15 12:32 AM
You are my sunshine...
As I took this picture of the sun's rays shooting through the clouds this morning, it reminded me of my little sister because she has always been a bright spot. No matter the many challenges she has faced in her life, she still is a positive force and someone I constantly look up to in awe. I love you Theresa. You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy...

Praying that the barrage of tests she will face today helps to set the course for improving her quality of life at this point.

postive thinking: Do it anyway. - 08/22/15 02:04 AM
Do it anyway.

When you treat others with respect, you get it back. Not always but that has not deterred me from putting the best of myself out in business and in personal relationships.

Grandpa Henry advised me to follow The Golden Rule and in honor of his wishes, I do and it works. This is another example of leadership from an amazing source:

People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered.  Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives.  Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, … (12 comments)

Trouble seeing eye-to-eye?

There are a multitude of personalities here in the Rain and differences of opinions are expected, reflected and more often than not, respected. If someone wishes to give a tongue lashing, there should be a receptive audience, otherwise it becomes a lopsided exchange.

Be considerate when acknowledging another's point of view and if not, then see your way out of the conversation or all eyes will on you for all the wrong reasons.

postive thinking: A sincere THANK YOU and fresh garden vegetables'll do! - 10/06/14 07:54 AM
A sincere THANK YOU and fresh garden vegetables'll do!
How do you show gratitude when past clients continue to refer their family and friends? A thoughtful gift does not need to be flashy or carry a lot of bling, it can be a simple gesture such as:
Inviting clients to lunch and paying the tab Baking up and hand delivering favorite cookies Sending a THANK YOU card with a personal note Sharing part of the fresh harvest from your garden  Don't hold back when it comes to GIVING THANKS! You can say it but showing it truly shines above anything else! My clients were coming to southern Utah just as … (10 comments)

Motivational Monday: Onward and Upward with purpose I go!

Moving Onward and Upward with purpose is what I do even when it gets tough! And believe me, it has been a most difficult road at times. When 3 transactions fall out in the same day, you must have enough tenacity and perseverance to make those phone calls and actively market them to other agents and the public to get them SOLD!

Failing is not an option when:
Your family depends on the income to maintain a healthy household Clients counts on you to get to the end of the transaction with a successful outcomeThe brokerage … (24 comments)

I ain't lion!
A recent sale went beautifully; from the time the offer was presented to my clients, to the very day before closing, leading me to wonder, when will it happen?
Most of you know exactly what I'm referring to: That in-your-face possibility that something could go wrong just waiting to pounce and wreak havoc on a perfectly honed transaction! And the anxious fretting, uneasy thoughts, nail biting, pacing the floor, emotional jarring that comes with worry.
The morning of closing day went by quickly with an assurance that we were on target...afternoon came and went...still no papers...loan docs showed … (29 comments)
