A tiny, newly hatched praying mantis hung upside down beneath a daisy bloom for a short time, before suddenly becoming very hungry.
"Should I dare to wander?"
The prayer began to ponder.
By remaining hidden under here,
All hope of survival may soon disappear.
So, after bravely venturing out and about,
Unsuspecting insects scattered fast to re-route!

Trust partnerships in business means consistent good communication, relaying necessary information, ensuring goals are adequately met. In return, everyone gains professional service with a sincere commitment.
Leave doubt and relationships suffer. When teaming up with others in business, everyone depends on the other to adequately fulfill their role. The main focus is achieving the goals set forth. If a team member becomes self-centered, veering off on their own, it can leave everyone else hanging.

Usually, the Holiday Season is filled with Christmas activities, parties and dinner events. Eating healthy can be difficult due to all the rich foods that are served, especially the sweet variety.
Just remember, moderation in all things. That will be your guide through the buffet lines to the dessert table. If you have any doubts, eat dessert first! (Desserts is stressed spelled backwards for those who may be wondering...!)

Make those ever important calls to past clients asking if there is anything you can do for them. Ask for testimonials and post them to social media. Get out and about in the community for some face-to-face time.

I BUSTED a CAP!
As an incentive for increased business and for encouraging individual sales goals, PK Real Estate Utah has implemented a cap program. Once an agent pulls in an agreed upon dollar amount, the brokerage allows 100% fee free structure for the remainder of the year.
Right before I left work on Friday evening, there was a message in my in-box from an owner of the PK Utah Real Estate Utah brokerage:

Taking that leap of faith...
It's challenging to stretch yourself beyond boundaries and if, at first, you don't succeed, try, try again. That is a well known quote that was repeated time and again to my children as they grew. I also knew the phrase well while growing up and admit it is much more appreciated than hearing, "I'll learn ya, durn ya!"
Here's to those of you who continue to get up, dress up and do the work, despite what the day brings. Happy sales all!

Start thinkin' of a'goal'n:
1. Write'n it - don't be lyin' when you oughta be truthin'
2. Set'n it - what's right is right but it ain't been right yet
3. Get'n it - stop playin' when you shoulda be a workin'
These goals are made for workin' and that's just what they'll do. One of these days these goals will get ya a'movin' and a'changin'.

First, Get 'em! Realize what you wish to accomplish whether it is in sales volume, area of professional growth or gaining information through education.
Second, Set 'em! Write it out. Be very specific and create daily, weekly or monthly expectations and be accountable. Gauge your success.
Third, Let 'em! By following the first two steps, you have now put into motion the guidelines that will rule the year ahead. Be consistent, show up.
I am a strong believer in goals and the importance they play in business. That is why I encourage everyone to GET SOME!
