2024 Washington County Board of Realtors Installation Banquet
Newly elected leaders for 2024 were installed at the annual Holiday Installation Banquet on Thursday, December 14th at 11:45am at the Hilton Garden Inn. A buffet-style luncheon was offered, along with the Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps presented the colors for the Pledge of Allegiance.
The President of Utah Association of Realtors spoke and installed the new President of the Washington County Board of Realtors. All other local board members were sworn in by this year's outgoing WCBR President.

At Home with The Yoga Master.
In a serious effort to get healthier, I have recently taken up yoga, consulting with the best of the best in southern Utah. Though some poses are extremely daunting, a little stretching before beginning a session goes a long way toward flexibility.
Having a leading yoga master instructor gives the confidence and discipline I need to to work out, though his methods are far superior. Being in his company lifts my spirits every day. Oh! Have to go now, the next session is about to begin...

When Brian Rasmussen and Barbara Watson took on this tree for the Jubilee of Trees celebration, they put their heart and soul into it. Each miniature is an exact replica of a historic building in the St. George, Utah area. My husband and I will be attending today's St. George Area Chamber of Commerce luncheon at the Dixie Center to take a look at this year's trees and enjoy a fabulous meal.

Spirit horse or merely drift wood?
An artist's conception of one of nature's most majestic animals, created with pieces of intertwined drift wood, no glue or screws to hold it together. I can just imagine it gracing the open desert plains, throwing up dirt while it charges ever forward, pounding a pattern into the drifting sand, then quietly seeking solace for the day in a slow gait.
Assembled strategically, this artistry creates a whole but seperately are merely pieces of drift wood found in and lying alongside a dry river bed. Amazing what the mind can do when put to.
