We spent the day at Las Vegas Speedway visiting the displays, engaging in the sights and sounds of everything race related. This guy was burning some serious rubber inside a very small space and it gave me some inspiration.
 
This is an example of what I feel like when going on a listing appointment. For your viewing pleasure, vroom, vroom!

After receiving an offer on a listing, I realized the agent was not from my selling area. She explained her clients were family members and just couldn't refer them out, though she lives more than 4 hours away.
 
Why to Let it Go! local:
 
1. An agent who lives, works and plays in their selling area can offer specific insights and information to out of area buyers planning to purchase locally. It is impossible for an out-of-town agent to possess the same knowledge.

Staying in touch and maintaining a relationship requires more thoughtfulness, less happenstance with buyers and sellers you value. Avoid becoming lax with staying top of mind, otherwise someone else will gladly take your place.
 
Make those ever important calls to past clients asking how they are and if there is anything you can do for them. 
Email helpful homeowner hints, start a social media campaign from a professional page on Facebook directed their way.  
Send out quarterly mailings offering something of value like a Comparable Market Analysis.
