St. George Marathon: A Boston Marathon Qualifier!
We are looking forward to watching the St. George Marathon on Highway 18 at 500 North in Veyo before the break of day tomorrow! We will be holding up signs and cheering for each and every athlete that passes through.
In 1977, 42 athletes were at the starting line in the inaugural St. George Marathon, 38 runners finished. Who knew it would go on to be a Boston Marathon qualifier? What an amazing way to experience southern Utah!

The mask mandate is a thing on the past here in Utah and it's so good for the heart and soul to see people enjoying being out and about without face coverings!
Humans tend to naturally migrate towards each other for friendship, lively conversations, business, sharing meals, shopping, comfort and when seeking love and acceptance.
Since the national shutdown, people are arriving here in droves to find a new place to call home. Friendly residents, small town feel and a healthy economy are drivers.

Utah is the Nation’s Youngest State!
While it's true that America is aging, according to the U.S. Census, Utah had the lowest median age in 2018, at 31 years compared to 38 years of age nationally. That's a lotsa young 'uns!
Despite Utah's youth, the state's median age is going up, keeping pace with the rest of the U.S.A. and the number of people 65 and older is growing as Baby Boomer's move toward retirement.
Southern Utah is also becoming more diverse as people are realizing the advantages of living here:

What does the first day of fall mean in St. Gorgeous Utah?
Absolutely nada, not a thing, not anything, nil, zero, naught, zip, zilch diddly-squat! It's business as usual here in southern Utah. Flowers are blooming, bees are buzzing and Nerdin Gardens is still producing.
While other areas have snow covered hill tops, colder temperatures, plant life going dormant, the St. George, Utah area is still alive with abundant color in hardscapes, softscapes with moderate temperatures.
Remember, St. Gorgeous has palm trees and an outdoor recreational playground that continuously gains international attention. Many people come from all over the world to experience that firsthand.

Get Trolled at the St George Utah SUNSET ON THE SQUARE!
Every 2nd and 4th Friday, the crowds converge with blankets and pillows to the St. George Townsquare to watch a movie on the big screen, be entertained by local talent and eat food supplied by vendors.
Make a Troll Hat tonight with Habitat for Humanity. The fun starts at 6:00 pm with games, crafts, activities for the young ones, prizes, food, booths and lots of music and lively dancing!
