Our youngest son is away at camp this week pursuing his dreams of one day becoming a professional skateboarder.
Part of pursuing passions is having the necessary tools in order to achieve your dreams.
The other part is up to you.
I have always told him that if he wanted something bad enough, he'd work hard enough for it.
He practices, practices and practices.
This camp will allow him to stretch his abilities and confirm that he has chosen something worthwhile for himself.

Finally, I am able to afford an assistant. The last few weeks have been crazy-busy and without much down time...
I am looking forward to my assistant handling some of my duties such as:
Taking my calls Answering my e-mails Scheduling showings Taking care of Open House details Creating flyers & brochures Refilling brochure boxes ...It was a nice thought while it lasted!!! At least our little kitty will be good for stress release...she is quite entertaining!
MEET MY NEW ASSISTANT...HIWAY! She is very inexpensive and only charges room and board with an occasional toy thrown in. She has to check everything … (12 comments)

When my car broke down last week I felt so very helpless because I depend heavily on my car for my day-to-day business and appreciate the freedom of getting in my car and driving. I'm sure most of you are able to relate to this.
I thought I'd make a list of items to check on a regular basis to keep your vehicle in good running order.

I met my clients at the office to view properties. We headed out at 9:30 a.m. I always schedule to show a home that I know is occupied, in order to avoid any surprises... (I've had many!).
We came to one house and the owner greeted us at the door with a mouthful of food...and said she hoped we didn't mind that her and her husband was eating...what was I supposed to say, "What are you doing here?!", " Why don't you two take a walk down the road or go for a drive?!"

I remember sitting with a broker several years ago as he began to tell me about selling homes way back when and how very little paperwork was involved. He told me back then some of the contracts were written on just one page.
One page?!
I was incredulous and amazed that the entire real estate transaction could be included in just one page!

We are headed for one of our favorite fishing spots...Otter Creek Reservoir, located just outside of Circleville, Utah and before Antimony! We hope to fish all day and catch our limit and if not...then at least we'll enjoy the day!
Oh and if you need to reach me, call me on Monday... There is no phone service on the lake!

A fellow realtor suggested using single page address websites for listings due to their affordability and to impress sellers.
I am always looking for better and more creative ways to reach further into the market regarding advertising.

Have you had a "When Pigs Fly!" moment?
I started thinking about the phrase "When Pigs Fly!" as I was taking pictures of the 7 piglets and began to wonder about its origin.
I looked it up on Wikipedia; a great encyclopedic online source for answers to questions. A flying pig is a metaphor for an impossibility or an event that will never come to pass, often with the implication something will be disatrous [that it will be impossible to do.
