Fishing is a strategy much like prospecting for clients: Fishing: The moment to pull your pole upward at precisely the same time a fish makes a commitment. Prospecting: Engage potential client to show the benefits of choosing you as their real estate agent. Fishing: React too soon to the tug on the line and gone is the fish. Prospecting: Stay the course and follow up and follow through consistently. Fishing: Pull too hard and you may lose your bait, the rigging and the fish! Prospecting: You may lose a few but if you wait for it, success is yours! The (5 comments)
wanda kubat nerdin: Break up to make up, that's all we do. - 01/12/13 07:26 AM
Break up to make up, that's all we do. While checking a recent post that had numerous links to shopping, local spas and golf courses in southern Utah, I clicked a few links and realized that 4 no longer worked. Accuracy is so important when sending out blogs about local areas, it lends to credibility, in my opinion. Information technology is constantly changing and it pays to check and recheck your work. Little did I know the City of St. George, Utah changed their links recently to all their public golf courses in the area, so all showed as broken links. For (14 comments)

We run the following departments: Sales Customer Service Advertising Marketing Human Resources Accounting Purchasing Inventory Licensing Education Operations Research & Development In other words, we are All-In-One professionals. Finding reasons to S-M-I-L-E during stressful times. Life can be daunting and challenging as unfortunate events take place without warning, often rendering us speechless while stealing the joy that naturally resides. Even the most positive people can be tested during times of extreme stress and duress. Despite what consequences that come our way, the ability to overcome seems to be a human built-in instinct. Finding ways to S-M-I-L-E again are an individual thing and only we know what drives the lips to turn upward. You can: Get out in the fresh air Call a friend for a lunch date Write your thoughts in a journal (8 comments)
Home field advantage throughout the playoffs is HUGE when it comes to NFL football and the Broncos. All teams play better when they perform on familiar ground (Much like real estate agents! Ya think?!). The Denver Broncos have taken care of business throughout the season and have earned this spot on the playing field. A fan since the Orange Crush days...Goooo Broncos! Well done and see you at the Superbowl. (11 comments)
wanda kubat nerdin: All aboard the tech train with the attitude of I Think I Can! - 01/03/13 06:24 AM
All aboard the tech train with the attitude of I Think I Can! There are oh-so many products in the market available to help you become the fastest, smartest and techiest of agents. While some are free, others may have cost attached to them. My advice is to create a marketing / advertising plan that is specific only to your goals and needs. What works for others may not come close to your expectations. I rely on our in-house tech expert at Prado & Kramer Real Estate to keep me abreast on what can and does work in order to make (11 comments)

wanda kubat nerdin: The best gifts are those given with love. - 12/24/12 09:14 AM
The best gifts are those given with love. Some of the things I cherish most are not the items bought from a store shelf or a clothes rack but instead something that is made with care and given from the most tenderest of places, the heart.
I hold few things dear but my emotions get the best of me every time I look at my boy's faces from a time that was simpler, where the "I love you's" came easy and the sweet hugs were plentiful. I keep telling young couples with children to hold tight to what is now (16 comments)

St. George Area Chamber of Commerce Dixie Sunshiner's Christmas Party was enjoyed by all! A special THANK YOU to the Robinson's for hosting the St George Chamber of Commerce Dixie Sunshiner's Christmas luncheon in their home. Approximately forty members arrived at 12:00 noon to share a wonderful meal and be entertained. The pasta dishes included: Penne Sam Remo, Baked Sausage Rigatoni plus a mixed green salad with dressing and fresh baked house bread from Buca di Beppo (thank you Myrna for delivery) were delectable and the homemade sweet rolls that Dian made were h-e-a-v-e-n-l-y and like Terry Draper said, "Eating fluffy air!" Plus several pies (6 comments)
Me & Santa were talking just the other day and we both agreed that there is an abundance of goodness that radiates from people's hearts but there will always be a need to fill. I could only wish that every child to feel safe and be loved. All families to have adequate shelter. Each person to have healthy food to nourish their bodies. It starts with each one of us and in the words of Mother Teresa... Do not wait for leaders; do it alone, person to person. Happy Wednesday all! (10 comments)
wanda kubat nerdin: Motivational Monday: It takes a team! - 12/17/12 06:20 AM
Motivational Monday: It takes a team! We are long-time Denver Bronco fans from the Orange Crush days and know from experience that it takes a team to WIN a game. I hold that same thought when a transaction is in progress; it takes cohesiveness to reach a successful end. Teamwork requirements: Must trust the associates Need to perform consistently Maintain balance despite conditions Stay with the harried pace Accomplish the goals set forth To be successful, you must make the commitment to perform without question and be diligent in putting forth a great effort. There is no slacking off while other (17 comments)
Apparently someone failed to read the paperwork. Have you ever been in a situation when something goes wrong in a business transaction and someone within the company at fault plays the blame game? In hopes they are not seen as the fallible one. With finger pointing outward in an attempt to discredit someone else's performance? Because the transaction was passed on to someone who overlooked the details. And then trying to short-cut the remedy so that management has no inkling of the situation? And what is proposed is totally unnacceptable by any standard. .................................................................................. My advice: STOP playing the blame game, make (8 comments)
