Community of Drum Point Drum Point Property Owners Association is located in Southern Maryland making up 622 lots. Prior to World War 11, Drum Point was a very rural community where residents made their living off of the land and water. An economic boom hit and the joys of leisure time and water recreation became more popular drawing in more visitors. As times changed and Southern Maryland grew, so did the Drum Point community, becoming a destination and week-end resort.
