In a March 2010 show of "the View", Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sherri Shepherd and Elisabeth Hasselbeck condemned Sarah Palin's political target map.
Whoopi Goldberg referred to Sarah Palin's dangerous rhetoric about "reloading" while even Hasselbeck spoke of a civic responsibility and called the crosshairs on Palin's map an "abuse of the second amnedment".
Goldberg had a message to the talking heads who were inciting violent thoughts: "Whatever comes down from this.... it's on your hands .... This is dangerous!"

Yesterday's shooting in Arizona where six people were killed and fourteen others wounded (including U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords) highlighted the precarious state of American politics.
When politicians use violent rhetoric and irresponsible images to promote their agendas we need to take serious cognizance that there are irrational people who will act on these irresponsible (albeit figurative) suggestions.

I recently blogged about the delicious burgers served at Tyler's in Palm Springs.
I did however, omit to blog about the delicious sandwiches on their menu.
The chicken salad sandwich must rank as one of the best available in all of California, closely followed by the turkey sandwich.
When visiting Tyler's don't forget to try their chocolate malt shake - it's wickedly good!

2011 Los Angeles Condo Market Outlook - Is The Market Improving For Los Angeles Condos? - 01/01/11 11:30 PM
The CLAW MLS has published an interesting chart which has a hint of good news for the Los Angeles condo market.
The chart indicates that the number of active listings decreased from 3635 units to 2703 units from November 2008 to November 2010. This 25% decrease in supply could bode well for condo sellers as buyers have less inventory to choose from, which may indicate that prices could stabilize and possibly increase.
Another encouraging fact is that the number of accepted offers doubled from November 2008 (149 condos) to November 2010 (301 condos) reflecting increased activity in the marketplace. The percentage … (7 comments)
