NASHVILLE SHORT SALE
I have almost vowed to never be involved in a short sale here in Nashville TN. I don't want to be involved on the buy side and sure as heck don't want to be involved on the sale side. I am sure there are many Realtors out there that feel the same! 
WELL WAKE UP PEOPLE! IT's 2010!!
I have now been "forced" into both helping clients buy and sale a home in the short sale process. Whether or not anyone WANTS to be involved you may end up facing your fears whether you like it or not.

What exactly IS social networking and how does it affect our listings? - 02/12/10 06:35 PM
What is the point of social networking? That is a great question and of course the answer (although true everytime) could be answered 10 different ways when asking 10 people. 
- My dad uses it to connect with old friends.
- High school students use it to tell everyone what they are doing at ALL times of the day:)
- Real Estate agents use it to network. Hopefully pick up some connections in which they can find buyers etc.

Westhaven Franklin TN. Today's Home sales. - 02/12/10 03:15 PM
I drove out to Westhaven Franklin TN this afternoon. I was shocked to see construction crews out there building new homes! Not only that, I also saw a couple "SOLD" signs in front of them. WHAT!?! 
As a Realtor, this is very exciting to see. People are purchasing new construction homes. Not only that, but the prices range anywhere from $400,000 - $650,000. 
I decided to pull the stats on Westhaven and found that there have been 4 homes closed since December BUT there are 9 currently under contract (2/12/10)(Today is my mother's birthday by the way). This is a great start … (0 comments)

Franklin TN home sale are up 3 months in a row! - 02/11/10 01:38 PM
Home sales have been up for the third month in a Row in Franklin Tn. 
The following information was taken from the Williamson County Association of Realtors. 

January 2010
 
 
As you can see, sales are up from even last year. This is a positive sign that the Franklin Tn market is improving. I realize that some sale are due to the fact that there are first time home buyers trying to get the $8,000 credit (I have a few clients myself who are first time home buyers).
