Surviving My Serengeti- What Animal Am I You May Ask??????? So today I was reading blogs reading about this one book called "Surviving my Serengeti" (which releases March 1st) and was quite interested in the posts. After reading what other associates have wrote about it sparked my interest to take the quiz. While I was reading over the different discriptions of the animals I was thinking I would definately consider myself more of a predatory kind of animal, one with stalker like tendencies.. >=) So once I took the quiz I was really hoping for Lion-ess, what can I say I (11 comments)

The 5 Stages of Grief of a Defaulting Homeowner Getting to the point where you can no longer pay your mortgage and recieving a NOTICE OF DEFAULT on your door can take the same emotional toll on you as losing a relative or a close friend of the family. You may find yourself going through the same stages of grief. Once it comes to your home, the emotional and thought process usually comes in this phase: 1. Denial: "This isn't happening to me, I can fix this, I'm not going to lose my home." 2. Anger: "Why ME? Why my family? How (9 comments)

What Questions Should I Ask My Realtor When Purchasing a Short Sale? I actually recieved this question from a friend of mine out of state today. Her and her husband are newly weds and in the market to buy a home.. They found a few they like but a good majority of them are short sales. I gave her as much information as I could on what to expect once it comes to buying a short sale, but she then asks me what questions should I ask my Realtor if I decide to buy a short sale? These are the questions (3 comments)
What Does it Mean When The Short Sale Listing Says "Approved"? - 02/09/11 06:06 PM
What Does it Mean When The Short Sale Listing Says "Approved"? I have gotten this question several times from my buyers once we are in the beginning stages of finding them a home. Of course in the very beginning they usually say "No Short Sales, I don't have the time for that." Then your job becomes to warm them up to the idea of a short sale, if they found one they like, because by saying "NO SHORT SALES" they are shutting down over half the inventory that is available to them. I always love it when my buyers ask me (5 comments)
Disclose! Disclose! Disclose!!!! - 02/07/11 07:12 PM
It doesn't matter if you are a buyer's agent or seller's agent it is very imortant to find out EVERYTHING there is to know about a property. Some circumstances can be a little bit more difficult, like a bank owned property for instance, because they do not provide a TDS. So we as the selected agents for our clients MUST do everything to find out EVERYTHING about this property. The roof leaks once it rains..................Disclose The bathtub drains very slowly..............Disclose The windows and doors are notopening and closing properly................Disclose The electric isn't grounded properly.......Disclose Someone died in the house recently.....Disclose Disclose (10 comments)
