So today I was reading blogs reading about this one book called "Surviving my Serengeti" (which releases March 1st) and was quite interested in the posts. After reading what other associates have wrote about it sparked my interest to take the quiz.

As you know this Saturday is the Rainstorm function in Anaheim.. I originally planned to attend this event but due to over booking myself and other pressing matters I will not be able to attend... What Questions Should I Ask My Realtor When Purchasing a Short Sale?
I actually recieved this question from a friend of mine out of state today. Her and her husband are newly weds and in the market to buy a home.. They found a few they like but a good majority of them are short sales. I gave her as much information as I could on what to expect once it comes to buying a short sale, but she then asks me what questions should  I ask my Realtor if I decide to buy a short sale?

What Does it Mean When The Short Sale Listing Says "Approved"?
I have gotten this question several times from my buyers once we are in the beginning stages of finding them a home. Of course in the very beginning they usually say "No Short Sales, I don't have the time for that." Then your job becomes to warm them up to the idea of a short sale, if they found one they like, because by saying "NO SHORT SALES" they are shutting down over half the inventory that is available to them.

It doesn't matter if you are a buyer's agent or seller's agent it is very imortant to find out EVERYTHING there is to know about a property. Some circumstances can be a little bit more difficult, like a bank owned property for instance, because they do not provide a TDS.  So we as the selected agents for our clients MUST do everything to find out EVERYTHING about this property.
