You Googlin' Me? - 09/29/11 10:00 PM
You Googlin' Me?
Having a very common name like ummm let's say, for example... "STACEY SMITH", it's not exactly an easy thing to seek after google domination. It seems sometimes the only hope that I have in that is finding someone with a weird polish last name like Zakaszewski or Wojciechowski and the work on my quest for google domination from there..
Unfortunately I am not remotely ready to jump on that matrimonial band wagon so I can anticipate being Stacey Smith for the next few years.
If you were to google search Stacey Smith right now I am no where … (8 comments)

Wednesday Photo- Disney California Adventure's Facelift
If it's been a while since you have been to California Adventure there has been quite a few changes that have been made, and are still being made. At the front of the where California was spelled out really big, they have taken those letters down and have made the entrance plaza look very retro.
Inside the park the the whole front side of the park is fenced off and currently undergoing a major remodel. They are converting main street California Adventure into what Burbank, CA. looked like at the the time Walt Disney arrived … (4 comments)

Motivational Monday-Do You Admit To Your Mistakes or Do You Blame Others?
"Sometimes when you innovate, you make mistakes. It is best to admit them quickly and get on with improving your other innovations"
-Steve Jobs
I don't know about anyone else but I grew up around so many people that loved loved loved to play the victim, and had an excuse for everything and why when something went wrong and it was never their fault. I think those attitudes kind of set the tone for my mind set, never be the victim, accept the fact the crap is going to … (10 comments)

Sunset Over Irvine, CA. - 09/25/11 05:57 PM
Sunset Over Irvine, CA.
As I was driving back home on Friday evening going South on the 5 FWY in Orange County, I was able to enjoy this beautiful sunset!! I love those clouds and though I should have been paying more attention to the road (even though I was moving at a steady 5 MPH) I couldn't take my eyes off this beautiful sunset.
This picture hardly does this sunset any justice, and you should probably not attempt to take pictures while driving, not really that safe, but I still managed to capture a decent photo.
The thing I love … (5 comments)

Thursday Photo-Spider!!! EEEK!!!
Ok I'm not that terribly afraid of spiders. Well as long as they are outside my house. But as most you may know, I have said it before. If I see any creepy crawlys scamper across my floor in my home, they have officially waged war on me and I go into kill or be killed mode!!!  In the instance of a spider.. I would most likely perfume it to death... I have done it many times! LOL!
But this was a neat shot I caught this morning as I was doing my 4 mile run near the Aliso … (8 comments)

I love going to Starbucks and working there for a few hours. After yesterdays experience at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, it made appreciate Starbucks a lot more. But I won't get into that experience.  Sometimes whenever I have a lot of work that I need to get done I love to come to Starbucks, order my MEDIUM iced coffee, though they do have the pumpkin spice latte this time of year and it's sooo good, but have to limit the fat and calories and I love iced coffee, put my earphones in connect … (12 comments)

Motivational Monday-Are You Winning Today's Games?
"Yesterday's home runs don't win today's game"-Babe Ruth
How timely is this quote?! One of the things that the real estate market is known for is it's constantly changing! With a changing market, strategies have to change as well.
Everyone that was in this industry (sadly I wasn't) in 2004 will probably remember those days as the glory days. It seemed you were hitting one after another out of the park and seemed you didn't really have to try. Some homes were sold before the sign stake was even put in the ground! We all know … (23 comments)

Sunday Photo-Just Another Flower Pic..
Today on my run I took a different trail, I love to explore and my running partner Snowy (my 4 year old American Eskimo) doesn't seem to mind. He seems to be happy with new territory to claim as Snowyland. :)
As I was running I saw this bush full of white flowers and it looks like it had some kind of fruit growing on it. I am not sure what it is, but it was pretty, and even with the camera on my phone the flowers photographed really well.
One thing amongst my wishlist that … (9 comments)

We grew up together in Oklahoma, we lived in the same neighborhood, went to the same school, and after school everyday we (me, Megan, her brother Darin and my sister Lindy) would be outside playing until dark, always playing something like cops and robbers, cowboys and indians, freeze tag, or doing something we were not supposed like ummmm... making campfires in the backyard and roasting bologna until … (6 comments)

Motivational Monday-Never Let Negativity Stop You From Being Great!!!
"Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds"-Albert Einstein
Once you think of all the great people, inventors, atheletes, entrepreneurs through out history you can't help but wonder how they got to that point of greatness. As you read their stories you learn it wasn't always a piece of cake for them. They always had to deal with the people around them with their negativity, and had to fight those doubts that those mediocre people tried to put in their heads.
Think about the Wright brothers... First to ever seek … (10 comments)

I always get a little skiddish at night though. As it starts getting dark I always pick up the pace a bit. Though Aliso Viejo is probably one of the most safest cities you could ever choose to live in, I don't want to test … (7 comments)

Saturday Photoblog-How Am I Expected to Work If You Keep Looking At Me Like That!?!?!?!
As most of you may know by now I have a 4 year old American Eskimo names Snowy. He is probably the funniest thing ever.. So much personality, and at times can be very demanding of my attention. In this instance, which was about 2 weeks ago, I was responding to some emails, sending properties to some clients, making some phone calls, just working away, and I had this little face looking at me...Everytime he bit down on that little toy it would make a squeeky … (7 comments)

While the rest of the country is starting to cool down, Southern California is starting to experience our heat wave and it has been sooo stinkin humid!!! It was the kind of humidity that reminded me of Oklahoma, the kind where you walk outside and feel like you have the air knocked out of you. The temperature on my car today was 102. Eh... Are Home Prices Going to Keep Dropping? - 09/02/11 12:17 AM
Are Home Prices Going to Keep Dropping?
That is the most common question I get from buyers today. With all the doomsday news reports coming out of the high possibility of home prices continuing to make a free fall to rock bottom (wherever that may be), no wonder why we as real estate professionals recieve that question a lot from our buyers.
To answer the question honestly, theres is no way to really tell, they may or they may not, but buying now you are still buying whenever the market is at a low, so even if prices do go down … (6 comments)
