There is a lost art of handwriting notes and thank you's.   With instant gratification such as email and texting, I can understand why, however as a REALTOR, it's somethin we need to do on a weekly basis.   With the market we find ourselves in, every touch to our inner sphere is that more important.   There are so many creative marketing idea's and I applaud those who think them up, but sometimes the simplest effort we put forth can mean so much.

So what do you say?   Any holiday is an opportunity to send a card to your sphere.   A birthday, anniversary, or special event can warrant a handwritten note.   Or, for no special reason at all... a simple "thinking of you" note will bring a smile to any person!

Another thought though, our spheres gets bombarded with Real Estate info from many agents.   How do YOU stand out of the pack?   First, a handwritten note will be opened and read while most of the postcards will be trashed.    Secondly, saying something personal to that person is a statement that you know who they are, will warm their heart and the client will feel how much you truly care for them.   Third, the note doesn't have to do anything with Real Estate and should not include a business card.   If they're in your inner sphere, then they know you're a REALTOR already.

It's so easy to time block 30 minutes to an hour each week to write out a few notes.   You don't have to send a note to your entire sphere at one time, but systemactically sending a few out each week will have a big impact on those people.   There are companies out there that will handwrite your notes for you!

I'm about to write a few right now... so should you!
