The weather is gorgeous in the DC area.  After a strange winter it seems like Spring is really here.

Falling for Hamlet by Michelle Ray My rating: 4 of 5 stars Since I am not a fan of Shakespeare, I only got this book because it is written by a friend of mine. I started reading it fully preparing myself to not enjoy it. Imagine my surprise when I found myself becoming engrossed in the story. Home Front by Kristin Hannah My rating: 4 of 5 stars This is the first book that I have read in a long time that impacted me so emotionally. I actually cried throughout the book. I think the author is very talented at pulling emotion from her readers even while some of the story feels predictable. The story is about a marriage on the rocks that has to confront a deployment. The Prince George's County Market appears to be heating up in some areas.  Though the total home sales is down slightly from this time last year, there are many fewer homes on the market, and more home under contract.  One factor that may contributing to the slightly lower sold homes is the increase in short sales.  There were many more short sales (318 vs. 204)  and significantly fewer foreclosures (338 vs. 579) that sold in PG County in January & February 2012.
