9th Annual Home Tour Weekend in Houston Bay Area on March 27-29, 2009 - 03/24/09 03:32 PM
The last weekend in March will feature five spacious waterfront homes on Taylor Lake and Nassau Bay. A pre-tour party will be on Friday night at the Italian-style villa of Frank and Kimberly DeLape. Tours of the other four houses will be on Saturday & Sunday from noon until five pm. Cost for all activities is $75, or afternoon tours will be $15 or $20 at the door. Family Outreach Agency of Clear Lake is offering a six week teen parenting class which will meet every Monday beginning March 30 from 6-7:30 pm at McWhirter Elementary school. Parents will explore ways to build a positive relationship through communicating clearly to elicit cooperation, avoiding power struggles while maintaining emotional control, and effective disciplinary techniques for teens.
