House Goes From Blah To Ahhhhh! - 07/27/08 08:20 PM
A Bachelor Pad No More!
Our company just completed staging a house in Ann Arbor (Michigan)--and the Realtor made the staging investment! I thought I'd share some before and after photos to demonstrate how staging with RE:STYLE can completely change the functionality as well as the look and feel of a home.
I must apologize upfront, as these photos are not up to my usual standards, and I will be retaking the Afters. (Regretfully, the Befores no longer exist--duh!)
This is what you saw when you walked in. The lockbox was actually on the sliding doors off the deck, as there is … (16 comments)

Group Think - 07/14/08 07:55 PM
As I was deciding what groups to add to my list, I was reviewing the groups others had added. And it struck me--can you conclude anything from the groups Active Rainers belong to?

For instance, who joins Staging in the Nude? Are these stagers who like to live on the edge a little? And what if they also belong to Redesign Renegades? Why would you want your clients to call a home stager without you getting the credit for suggesting this? Or, why would you want to have a seller ask you if you offer a staging consultation, when you could have been the one to mention it first?

Diving In--First Blog Post - 07/10/08 01:24 PM

Okay, I look pretty happy here about jumping into the ocean for a dive at Molokini crater off Maui. But, before any dive, I always feel a little trepidation--this dive into blogging included!
I guess I should introduce myself and give a little background:
I was actually one of the first home stagers to set up a profile in Active Rain. I was even the featured one from my area before Active Rain caught on. My business also caught on--so much so that I was over my head in work, submerged in running my business, unable to surface until now!
