I almost fell over in my chair laughing when an agent called me one day and said just this phrase "You can't put but so much lipstick on a pig".....

You know what, it is so true if you think about it.  There comes a time, when you have to realize that it's time to upgrade or time to do a re-model of your home.  There is only so much you can do to make it look appealing to another.  Let me be blunt about it, just because YOU think the house looks fantastic, doesn't mean that EVERYONE else will agree with you.  Sometimes, you have you put yourself in check.... take a step back from your emotions and see in the eyes of others. 

Think about that time you went into someones home for a dinner party, birthday party, pool party, etc.  Don't your remember saying "oh I can't believe they did that to their house" or even better "oh my, who picked out that color scheme".............

GUESS WHAT?  When you put your treasured home up for sale, you might want to consider what OTHERS want to see.  Your home will become a PRODUCT FOR SALE............HOT PRODUCT = More on the return of investment.
