Janet Guilbault, a mortgage lender, has put together some great information on how much time it actually takes to find a new home! According to her, first time homebuyers need to start the process within the next three weeks, in order to avoid missing out on the $8,000 tax credit. The timeline is a little different for first time homebuyers looking to have a home built, whether by a tract builder or a custom builder. Even with a 3-4 month build time, we're getting close to the cut off! The December 1st deadline is going to come faster than we think....
