You may be surprised to learn that North Carolina is one of the most active wine-producing areas of the United States. For example, the annual "Great Grapes" fair in Cary draws dozens of wineries and thousands of attendees wanting to experience what NC wineries have to offer.

Raleigh Relocation Information Dennis Vineyards - Local North Carolina Wineries Wine Tours Near Raleigh NC North Carolina offers some wonderful, local wineries with unique tastes and delicious local wines. I had the opportunity to taste some terrific sweet wines during the Southern Ideal Home Show, and I'm looking forward to a winery visit soon!
Dennis Vineyards is just 6 miles east of Albemarle, a little over two hours from Raleigh near Charlotte NC. Tours (including free tour options) are available Saturdays at 11 am and 3 pm, or weekdays by appointment.
