This video shares observations about the real estate market in the Phoenix Metro area for the last 5 weeks (April-May 2020). Homes under contract over the last five weeks have increased by a considerable per cent - about 65%. The news that makes both Sellers and Buyers happy is that even though prices have increased, with the low interest rates, the monthly mortgage payment on a $300,000 loan (thirty-year fixed, P&I) is lower today than the same time last year. This is a real estate market update for sales of single family homes near down town Phoenix, zip code 85006, for the month of November 2016. Last month's market report for this zip code can be found on my blog, too. Zip code 85006 covers areas between 7th Street and 24th street, and between Thomas Road and Van Buren Rd. The area includes several historic districts: Garfield, North Garfield, Coronado, Brentwood, and Country Club Park.
Twenty two homes were sold for the month of November 2016. From a look at the table below, we can see that the highest sales price was $330,000 and the lowest - $80,000. … (6 comments)
