Today, I got another request from a nice person looking to Retire in Branson for me to mail brochures about retiring in Branson. Naturally I was glad for the request and happy to provide that service. According to our local statistics, Branson single family homes sales last month total was again only 19 single family, built-on-site homes with the highest priced one selling for $650,000 and the lowest priced one selling for $60,000. The medium price is down to $140,000. Not good news for Branson home owners or sellers. 10 homes were short-sale and foreclosure sales and that is more news we really did not need. That is an increasing influence by the distress sales market in our Branson Market and not the good sign we have been looking for!

According to local information, Stone County MO single family homes sales last month total was down again to just 15 single family, built on site, homes with the highest priced one selling for $665,000 and the lowest priced one selling for $31,500. That is not good news for home sellers in the Table Rock Lake area. The medium price of those homes sold was down to $140,000. The only good news is only 3 were sold as short-sales and foreclousres. According to our local statistics, Branson single family homes sales last month total was down 5 to 19 single family, built-on-site homes with the highest priced one selling for $409,000 and the lowest priced one selling for almost $59,000. That is a big decrease in the number of single family homes sold and the medium price is back down to $160,000. Not good news for Branson home owners or sellers. According to our local statistics, Branson single family homes sales last month total was up 7 to 24 single family, built-on-site homes with the highest priced one selling for $380,000 and the lowest priced one selling for $35,000. That is a great increase of number and the medium price is up to $175,000 and that is two great improvements in the single family home sales for Branson home owners and sellers alike. 11 homes, which is under 50%, were short-sale and foreclosed homes included in these totals. Branson Missouri Real Estate Market Report for June 2011 According to the MLS statistics, Branson single family homes sales last month total was 18 homes with the highest priced one selling for $359,900 and the lowest priced one selling for $20,000. That is a decrease from last month and a sign of major foreclosure influence in the Branson single family homes market. The medium price of $143,000 is also sad news for our Branson Real Estate Market.

Predominent Tex-Mex style Mexican food has such a strong influence on Ozarkians tastes for Mexican Food that I feel it is necessary to promote my new friend Alex's Taco and Burrito business in Branson. Half way between Springfield and Branson is a out of the way stop for sandwiches and pie that opened recently in Spokane, Missouri. Located just South of the only gas station in town along US Hwy 160 South where the old gun shop used to be is Angies Deli and Bakery, home of good people, food, and pies!

According to the Branson Tri-Lake MLS statistics, Stone County single family homes sales last month total was 20 homes with the highest priced one selling for $520,900 and the lowest priced one selling for $60,000. That is a huge improvement over the last several months an shows a major improvement in both the weather and buyer's desires to take advantage of the slower market prices. The wind is blowing in from the South and the trees are starting to leaf out. Flowers are starting to show alongside the roads. Instead of snow, we get rain for weather changes, ah ha, life is sweet this time of year. March madness is going on in the Ozarks too, especially in Branson and Hollister.
