I am a member of Toastmasters International http://www.toastmasters.org/ and its a great place to help build your confidence in public speaking or just speaking in general.  As you all know we are in the business of public speaking; through not only face to face meetings with customers/clients but also with other real estate agents, lawyers, title companies, home inspectors, contractors, our brokers, etc.... and the list goes on and on. 
With small talk you can actually drop the defense that is natural for people to have towards salespeople.  ***The best talkers are the ones that talk the least, listen the best, pay … (4 comments)

I am a newer agent and learning alot here at AR.  The information that everyone is posting is great.  I have had to pleasure of talking to Margaret Rome today.  She called me doing a follow up of her book that I ordered called REAL ESTATE THE ROME WAY.  She also took the time to go to my AR site and talked to me about some of the information that I needed to get me going here. 
I have replied to some posts and got good information.  Everyone replied to me very fast.
